JamiQ Private Limited is a startup that I co-founded in 2008. We are on the lookout for brilliant developers.
- Strong in English and another Asia language (Chinese, Hindi, Thai, Vietnamese, Bahasa etc).

We are developing software with capabilities in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning (ML).
Details
We are looking for individuals passionate about helping users overcome the torrent of information. You must have a high risk appetite. You believe that software can help to digest information and provide insights. These insights should provide our users with knowledge to make quick and effective business decisions while supporting their business strategies. You believe that information should always enhance, not reduce, understanding.
Since we are dealing with the English language, you should be strong in it. Strength in other South East Asian languages (besides Chinese) is a plus.
You should be based in Singapore (or within budget-airline reach). There will be heavy learning and experimenting involved. You need to be, ideally, familiar with NLP and ML, but they are not necessary.
Culture
You must be smarter than us.
We enjoy asking each other difficult questions and debating them. You must like that too.
We work independently. We do a fair bit of remote work and come together regularly for brainstorming sessions.
We love to have lunch together.
